Awareness is spreading that overall personal well-being depends on a range of variables that are not exclusively dependent on those economic and material aspects predominantly taken into consideration when making policy decisions. They include aspects tied to lifestyle, dietary choices and safeguarding of health and the environment.
The Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition is an independent think tank founded at the beginning of 2009 and today recognized internationally as a research center of considerable importance on an institutional level. Its activity is coordinated by an Advisory Board comprised of experts coming from a range of professional backgrounds in different, but complementary, areas, including expertise in economics, medicine, nutrition, sociology and the environment.
The European House - Ambrosetti - is a partner of Barilla for all the scientific and communication activities of the BCFN project.
