Leaders of the Future
Development and Merit Grants 3rd Edition - 2012/2013
For the third consecutive year, The European House - Ambrosetti, with the collaboration of the Federazione Nazionale Cavalieri del Lavoro, promotes the “Borse di Sviluppo e Merito” (BMS – Development and Merit Grants), to be awarded to particularly deserving young people in leading Italian universities to allow them to take part for a year in the Leader del Futuro-Aggiornamento Giovani training and update program.
The Project, which 
aims to ensure that the best young students have access to the best job opportunities, with the awareness that it is necessary to invest in excellence by providing young people with windows on the world, developing and updating their managerial skills and education in the culture of competitiveness at every level, through international experiences and networking.
With the support of several selected sponsor organizations (for the first edition: Enel, SEA – Società Esercizi Aeroportuali, Telecom Italia; for the second edition: Alliance Boots, ATM – Azienda Trasporti Milanesi, Telecom Italia), thirty young people at the end of their university careers have so far been able to take advantage of the BSM.
The students are chosen among the winners and finalists of the “Alfieri del Lavoro”, who were awarded the title by the President of the Republic at the time of their graduation from secondary school, in recognition of their excellent scholastic achievements, and have confirmed the same exceptional results in their subsequent academic studies.
The students are selected on the basis of merit according to strict criteria, but also taking account, as far as possible, of the needs and specific profiles requested by the sponsor organizations.
The young people selected to participate in the Leader del Futuro-Aggiornamento Giovani program may thus have the opportunity to obtain internships in the sponsors' companies.
