Project initiatives for
"Developing Africa: an Opportunity for Europe, Italy and Sicily"
As part of the activities of the project "Developing Africa: an Opportunity for Europe, Italy and Sicily" and in strict synergy with suggestions from European and African leaders, The European House-Ambrosetti has identified a number of key sectors and issues for development in which to design concrete initiatives.
Each initiative:
- Is conceived from a business for business standpoint (mutual profit for all participants, both European and African)
- Is not a “spot” intervention
- Is designed from a modular and scalable standpoint (potential generation of wide-ranging effects over time)
- Has a detailed business plan
- Is open to participation of interested parties
The initiatives and their progress reports are presented annually at the Taormina Forum, in the presence of Italian, European and African political and business leaders.
