Developing organizational talent and individual competencies
If an organization's structure becomes hierarchically flattened - a tendency all too common in today's corporate world - the people who work within that structure also become flattened, and with them their ability to generate speed and results. Speed, in a context of fierce competition and continuous change.
The ability of an organization to respond to the challenge of its competition is also determined by its internal situation. Optimizing individual behavior and excellence practices is the first step in answering this challenge.
To compete, every organization needs to be able to attract and keep talent by reinforcing a sense of belonging and creating a suitable incentive system. This necessity must be translated into assessment and development processes so that talent can express its full potential through individual development programs that make use of every possible stimulus (job rotation, on-the-job training, project management, training, coaching, etc.).
For an organization's strategy to be successful, it must identify key competencies and bring the motivation and behavior of individuals and groups into line with accomplishing set goals. |
