Strategic governance systems
In our age in which change is the rule, not the exception, sudden acceleration and changes in scenarios can generate enormous impact on any organization, whether corporate, public or private institutions or territorial systems.
What is required first and foremost is having a clear idea of the nature of organizations. An organization is a system. It is a set of roles and responsibilities that interact and are in constant, on-going evolution. Implementing the correct strategic choices is decisive.
Our method of approach is based on creating Fundamental Strategic Governance Reference Points. By fundamental strategic reference points we mean:
- mission
- guiding values
- vision of the future and objectives
- business identification and strategic structure
- corporate structure
- business strategy and portfolio strategy
- organizational macrostructure and operational mechanisms.
The words of the ancient Roman philosopher, Seneca, are still relevant today: “If one does not know to which port he is steering, no wind is favorable." |
