Created in 2016, the Iran-Italy Summit was born with the aim of becoming the annual reference event for the political and business elites of Iran and Italy, strengthening economic, cultural and commercial ties, and deeply discussing strategic opportunities in a bilateral and regional perspective.
During the two editions of the Summit - held in 2016 in Tehran and in 2017 in Rome - several position papers related to particularly promising business sectors were presented, drafted by a dedicated team of professionals from The European House - Ambrosetti under the guidance of a Think Tank with an international Advisory Board. The initiative is dedicated to CEOs and leaders of high-level political institutions in both countries.
Starting from 2018, with the deterioration of the international context and the impossibility of organizing further editions of the event, The European House-Ambrosetti has promoted the organization of exclusive round tables dedicated to issues and insights on the Iranian economy. In 2021, we organized the first edition of the Europe Iran Business Forum in collaboration with the International Trade Center (UN agency) and the Iran Trade Promotion Organization.
