Within a context in which the European project is being challenged by many, and in which the European Commission itself is posing questions about the future of the Union, two crucial actors—Italy and France—can play a central role in relaunching European ideals and the European Union itself through a solid bilateral partnership from a European standpoint. During the first “Italian-French Dialogue for Europe” (May 30, 2018, LUISS, Villa Blanc, Rome) a paper prepared by The European House – Ambrosetti on this question was presented.
