On April 4th, as part of the annual activities of the South Africa – Italy Summit, a High Level working group has been organized by The European House – Ambrosetti in Milan. The event provided the chance to reflect on the South African unique space for turnaround, provided by the uptake of Country’s Presidency by Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, and related opportunities for Italian and European entrepreneurs and business leaders.
On February 15, Jacob Zuma resigned as South Africa President. Zuma’s decision followed the loss of support from its own party, the African National Congress (ANC), and opened the road to the appointment of Cyril Ramaphosa as new South African President.
In 2018 and for the second consecutive year, The European House – Ambrosetti will be coordinating the Italian delegation to the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2018 (BFA AC2018), which will take place April 8-11, 2018 in Boao – Hainan, China.
In some areas, such as Italy, the promotion of a culture aimed at sustainability and prevention of natural and climatic risk finds the perfect terrain. In fact, on a global level, Italy is only behind China, Japan and the countries of Central and South America in terms of environmental risk.
