Brexit: businessmen at Cernobbio hypothesize a new referendum and, in the event of a hard Brexit, express potential negative impacts on their company’s business

The 200 businessmen attending the Cernobbio Forum organized by The European House – Ambrosetti were surveyed regarding Brexit. 38.7% think there could be a new referendum to reassess the will of the British people, 15.6% foresee a soft Brexit, while 16.2% think there will be a hard Brexit.

If this third scenario should occur, 43.5% of the businessmen surveyed in the room think there could be negative impacts on their company’s business. On the other hand, 28.6% of those voting does not think there will be negative consequences.
