Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) – D.O.T. (Do One Thing) Association Agreement: selected the doctoral candidate who will be the recipient of a 60,000 euro three-year grant for a research project with the title “Resilience after an earthquake: the case of Central Italy”.
In the wake of the earthquakes that have struck Central Italy in recent months, The European House – Ambrosetti, through the association DOT (Do One Thing), has committed itself to financing a three-year, 60,000 euro grant for a study entitled “Resilience after an earthquake: the case of Central Italy”, a seismographic research project as part of a research doctorate in “Urban Studies and Regional Science”, during the 2016/2017 academic year of the GSSI.
On October 4, 2016, the agreement was signed with the Gran Sasso Science Institute —International PhD Program and Center for Advanced Research, a new pole of scientific excellence in Aquila—that issued a call for applicants for the research program by inserting an additional place in the program.
After having received and examined around 70 applications, in November 2016 the recipient of the research grant was selected: Federico Fantechi.
