Confcommercio Forum 2016 – 17° edition

018g1460Once again this year, as in the past, the “Leading Market Players and Scenarios for the 2000s” forum organized by Confcommercio, and The European House – Ambrosetti took place in Cernobbio on Friday and Saturday, March 18 and 19, in its traditional setting of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este.

The Forum is a yearly event for top leaders in the service economy and the business community in general, and has become an important opportunity for debating at a hight level those issues of interest not only to this sector, but society as a whole. An exclusive venue for meeting and discussing that involves international and Italian experts, opinion leaders and institutional representatives.

The topics included:

  • The international economic scenario;
  • Growth and employment; Strategies for tourism;
  • Three North-South structural deficits: legality, logistics and bureaucracy;
  • Italy as a tourist destination and the potential offered by new markets;
  • Italy’s tourism patrimony: wine and food culture and local traditions;
  • Tourism, infrastructure and transport.

The Forum opened on Friday, March 18 at 11 am with a press conference by Confcommercio president, Carlo Sangalli.
