Milan – Magna Pars, November 16, 2018
The event originates from the setting up, six years ago, of a strategy-oriented Advisory Board on the future of the communications, advertising and media sector in Italy, created by WPP in partnership with The European House – Ambrosetti.
Communications is a strategic asset for businesses and the entire country and economy, and is a sector characterized by a high level of value added and a major presence of young talent and women, factors which stimulate creativity and foster innovation. From this standpoint, the communications sector—in responding to changes in business, consumers, organizational structure and, above all, the needs of those investing in communications, advertising and publishing—stimulates, in turn, investment and new jobs in the country.
The role of Millennials in society, their key characteristics as the consumers of today and tomorrow, their vision of the future of Italy, their relationship to the job market and an analysis of the portfolio of current and future digital competencies with which Italy must equip itself to successfully take on the competition on a global level are just some of the main issues examined by the Advisory Board.
Members of the Advisory Board are Valerio De Molli, Managing Partner & CEO, The European House – Ambrosetti; Massimo Costa, Country Manager, WPP Italia; Aldo Bisio, Managing Director, Vodafone Italia; Silvia Candiani, Managing Director, Microsoft Italia; Fabio Caporizzi, CEO, Burson Marsteller Italia; Marco Costaguta, President, Ltp – Fast Moving Consumer Goods Expert; Luca Garavoglia, President, Davide Campari; Monica Maggioni, Journalist, former President, RAI; Francesco Pugliese, Managing Director, CONAD; Gabriele Salvatores, Director and screenwriter; Cristina Scocchia, Managing Director, KIKO; Danilo Taino, Editorialist, Corriere della Sera; Andrea Zappia, CEO, SKY Italia.
