It’s hard to manage people and projects but according to Marco Grazioli, The European House – Ambrosetti’s President, in order to reach perfection, no complex formula is required at all: we just have to get back to fundamentals.
According to Marco Grazioli, The European House – Ambrosetti’s President, as explained duting the HR Global Summit 2016, in order to reach perfection, no complex formula is required at all: we just have to get back to fundamentals.
An Innovative individual is naturally curious, draws inspiration from almost any circumstance, seeks for bigger challenges and breaks rules.
This must be the reason why innovative people love windows and hate mirrors. When we are too self satisfied and confident to be the best in town, it’s very hard to have things changed.
When innovation becomes the basic mindset that shapes our life, we will find out that such an attitude has opened the way to a cultural awareness that enables us to learn even from those whom we didn’t expect to learn from.
The same mindset applies to brand’s Heritage: if every single tradition turns out to be a vital one, maybe something is just wrong. It’s very hard to find the essence of a very glorious heritage (think of secular organizations!) but being bold enough to discontinue an unnecessary habit can be extremely refreshing.
The good news is: we don’t need a “talent”, a genius to have a top level performance. Anyone can reach excellence, if a good manager stimulates his team and is always on the hunt for a new challenge.
Last but not least, when it comes to communicate that something you’re passionate about, don’t get people bored and don’t stick to coherence for the sick of it.
Actually, when you live in Chaos Land, where everything gets blurry, it’s way better to ride the wave like a surfer, and the coolest, the better.
With such a formula in mind, we have no excuses any longer: we hold the responsibility of being the avant-garde in our organization.
