First edition of Technology Forum Life Sciences

The first edition of Technology Forum Life Sciences was held in Milan at Magna Pars (Via Tortona, 15) on Tuesday, October 13, from 10 am to 7 pm.
The Forum, about “Strengthening the Links for Innovation”, aims to provide a valuable contribute to the debate and concrete proposals to foster the development of the Life Sciences Industry in Italy, through the creation of an ecosystem of innovation.
It was a one-day event gathering Industry Leaders and Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Investors, and Policy Makers, with a lot of keynote speakers.
Among the confirmed speakers: Kári Stefánsson (Founder, deCODE – Iceland), Issi Rozen (Senior Director, Strategic Alliances – Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard – USA), Andrea Alunni (Seed Investment Manager, ISIS Innovation – Oxford University, UK), Francesco De Rubertis (Partner, Index Ventures, UK), Riccardo Cortese (Founder, Okairos), Giuseppe Martini (Chairman, Alisei), Alessandro Sidoli (Chairman, Assobiotec).
A Scientific Committee, composed of internationally recognized experts, supervised and participated actively in this project: Francesco Granata (Executive in Residence, Warburg Pincus; President, Circassia), Francesca Pasinelli (General Director, Telethon), Andrea Ponti (Partner, GHO Capital) and Pier Giuseppe Pelicci (Research Director of the European Institute of Oncology,IEO).
The Technology Forum Life Sciences is part of the activities of the HUB Innovation and Technology.
