Life Sciences – specifically Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices – represent one of the most promising hi-tech industries in Italy and has a significant growth potential in the medium to long term. Important results have been achieved in the recent years, but there is still a lot more that can be done to turn this Industry into a real engine for the country economic growth and competitiveness.
The Forum aims to provide a valuable contribute to the debate and concrete proposals to foster the development of the Life Sciences Industry in Italy, through the creation of an ecosystem of innovation.
Under the auspices of the Italian G7 Presidency, this year the Technology Forum Life Sciences is honored to host a Side Event of the G7 Science Ministers’ meeting, with the ambitious purpose of investigating the role of research in the promotion of future technologies and innovations.
