Next Generation EU: what are the priorities for Italy?

On July 7, 2021, The European House – Ambrosetti and Amundi presented the report, “Next Generation EU: What are the priorities for Italy?”, a research project focused on analyzing Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan by examining in detail its components and expected impacts, while underscoring the opportunities for Italy and its companies and formulating proposals to ensure that the Plan is implemented effectively.

The project—guided by the Amundi SGR Advisory Board—also highlighted the necessity of utilizing the Plan as a driver to accelerate the building of a more sustainable and inclusive society by following the course outlined by the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The event was held at Palazzo Parigi in Milan and was also broadcast in live streaming.

Taking part were the members of the Amundi SGR Advisory Board: Ignazio Angeloni (Research Fellow, Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government, Harvard Kennedy School), Mario Mauro (former Minister of Defense) and Giovanna Melandri (Chairwoman, Human Foundation; Executive Board, GSG – Global Steering Group for Impact Investment).

Also contributing to the discussion were: Mario Nava (Director-General for Structural Reform Support, European Commission); Marina Ponti (Director, UN SDG Action Campaign) and Francesco Profumo (President, Compagnia di San Paolo).
