A part of The European House - Ambrosetti since 1999, he is currently Associate Partner and head of the “Business Acceleration” practice whose goal is to monitor the operational implementation of processes most inherent to the business results of its client firms.
Trained as an economist, he strives to combine as closely as possible the personal traits of an individual (technical and interpersonal expertise) with organizational needs (structure, processes and operational aspects).
He is an expert in the development of project management systems, service models and innovation management.
He began his career working on retail banking special projects, first for companies and then as a consultant, and in this area he managed projects, including complex ones, in banking, mass consumption–large-scale distribution, and a range of high-tech sectors.
Associate Partner and Area Leader for the Italian Regions of Lazio, Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia.
Headquartered in Rome, he is primarily involved in the development of The European House - Ambrosetti's local community for multi-client services.
After having graduated in economics, he began his career as an auditor and then consultant for projects related to corporate organization, human resource management and management control, with experience in the automotive and telecommunications sectors in Italy and abroad.
He was also personnel manager in public entities for the City of Rome.
Associate Partner at The European House - Ambrosetti. She is in charge of Ambrosetti Club, a platform that brings together 400 CEOs of the main companies operating in Italy.
She is also Head of Media Relations.
Graduated in Business Administration, she joined Ambrosetti in 1999, starting with consultancy projects in the People & Change Area, after a three-year experience at Bayer.
Associate Partner, Marco Visani is the Head of the Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation practice for The European House - Ambrosetti.
Marco creates initiatives designed to increase corporate value by assisting client businesses to improve their governance systems and facilitating the introduction of behaviors aimed at maximizing operational performance.
He has extensive experience with top-level Italian and European companies in designing and implementing management systems whose purpose is to create value; he also produces competitive analyses, business plans and contributes to defining strategic positioning. He aids companies in introducing incentive systems for top management to improve the results of client firms. Since 2009 he is the Head of the Observatory on Corporate Governance Excellence in Italy. He is involved in teaching/training activities in the areas of corporate finance, managerial incentive and value based management. He is the author of a number of publications on questions of finance and research into the development of value governance systems.
He is involved in writing articles about corporate finance and corporate governance for Il Sole 24 Ore and Corriere della Sera.
He has a degree in the Economics of Institutions and Financial Markets from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
