On the occasion of the ANIE's 80th anniversary event “Da 80 anni ANIE conduce OLTRE,” the study “Towards a New European Industrial Competitiveness: The Strategic Role of Electrotechnical and Electronical Technologies” was presented. The Study was conducted by TEHA Group and ANIE, with contributions from the Research Department of Intesa Sanpaolo, to provide an in-depth analysis of the trends reshaping industrial value chains and to offer concrete policy recommendations to strengthen the systemic competitiveness of national and European industry.
The Study aligns with the new framework outlined by the Competitiveness Compass, a strategic tool adopted by the European Commission in February 2025 to guide the Union’s industrial policies, in line with the recommendations of the Draghi Report on the future of European competitiveness. Both documents emphasize the urgency of moving beyond a purely regulatory approach to adopt a proactive industrial agenda that integrates sustainability, technological innovation, and strategic autonomy.
