It is always a pleasure to comment on positive social-economic data, and this is even more true following a year-and-a-half of terrible statistics.

GDP rose by 2.7% in the last quarter which has raised expectations for the year-end. At the start of 2021, the International Monetary Fund forecast a growth of 4.2% for Italy in 2021. In July, this forecast became 4.9%. The ISTAT forecast rose from 4.0% to 4.7%, that of The European House – Ambrosetti from 4.0% to 4.9%, that of the European Commission from 3.4% to 5.0% and that of the Bank of Italy from 3.5% to 5.1%.
