World experts and global Communication and Marketing managers of major international Groups will come together at the Summit to put forward their own vision on the future of communication.

The gathering was an opportunity to listen to speakers talk about the challenges faced by communication in coming years, and with particular reference to the following areas:

  • Digital transformation and communication: the role of new media and the impact of Big Data;
  • Corporate Transparency in the era of fake news;
  • How to organize the communications team: new competencies and new challenges;
  • The new forms of storytelling;
  • Corporate Communication during reputational crises.

The Speakers

Louise Beveridge
Former Senior Vice-President of Communications for the Kering Group, she was voted “Personalité communicante 2014” by the Communication & Enterprise professional association. She now teaches Communications Strategy on the Master’s program at Sciences Po, Paris. She is a member of the advisory board of the International New York Times and the Financial Times Luxury Conferences.


Blake Cahill
Senior Vice President and Global Head of Digital Marketing & Media, Philips. With over twenty years’ experience, he has worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies, as well as for digital start-ups. He is currently head of digital transformation at Philips.

Santiago de la Cierva
Professor of Crisis Management and Reputation and Lecturer of Managing People in Organizations at the IESE Business School. He has dedicated his entire professional career to communication. In addition to having founded and managed the ROME reports TV news agency, he was also Director of Communications at the IESE Business School.


Kerstin Floetner
Director Communications and Public Relations EMEA, Goodyear. She worked for some large groups including Tempo, Bitburger and Hewlett-Packard. She filled key positions, dealing with integrated marketing communication, branding, corporate communication, public relations, crisis communication and M&A communication.


Matt Peacock
Group Director of Corporate Affairs, Vodafone. He is head of the Group’s communications strategies in over 30 countries. He was Group Communications Director for BG Group, a multinational in the energy sector, and Director of Communications at Ofcom and AOL. He was also a correspondent for BBC Radio News in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States.


Sabia Schwarzer
Head of Group Communications, Allianz. Her career in Allianz began in 1996 as Regional Head of Communications and Marketing Asia-Pacific. She was responsible for the creation and development of the Communications and Marketing Department at the Singapore Headquarters. In the year 2000 she was appointed Group Head of Communications and Marketing North America.


Julius van de Laar
An expert in digital communication, he acts as a consultant to parties and candidates, non-governmental organizations and companies. He worked on both of Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns, and was also a Senior Strategist for political parties and candidates across Europe. Capital Magazine recently selected him as one of the “top 40 up-and-coming talents” in German politics.
