A number of the leading personalities at the 42nd Ambrosetti Forum, “Intelligence on the World, Europe and Italy”, taking place in Cernobbio, will outline future trends in the global economy, geopolitical balances and innovation.

This event offers the opportunity to share with international experts perspectives on future challenges and opportunities for business.

Former Italian Prime Minister. He is Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences PO (Paris), as well as President of the Association Italy-ASEAN and co-Chairman of the Italy-UK Conference of the British Council. His most recent publications are: “Andare insieme, andare lontano” and “L’Europa è finita?”.

An innovation expert, he is the author of “The Industries of the Future”, a New York Times 2016 Bestseller and among the top-10 business books in America. He was Senior Advisor to the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University. Among the top-100 Global Thinkers according to Foreign Policy, he is among the 10 individuals who, according to The Huffington Post, will change the rules of the game in politics. He is a recipient of the US State Department’s Distinguished Honor Award and Oxford University’s Internet & Society Award.

marcel-fratzscherMarcel Fratzscher
Economist, expert in international finance and monetary systems. He is the president of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), one of the most prestigious economic research think tanks in Europe, and Professor of Macroeconomics and Finance at Humboldt University (Berlin). He is a past head of the International Policy Analysis Division of the European Central Bank and previous to that he worked for the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the Indonesian Finance Ministry, the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank.
